Historic Macon Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving Macon’s historic architecture while revitalizing local neighborhoods. Since 1964, the organization has restored and repurposed historic properties throughout Middle Georgia, helping give older buildings new life and strengthening the communities around them.

Through preservation, rehabilitation, and adaptive reuse, Historic Macon works to protect the city’s architectural heritage while creating spaces that can continue serving the community. This project reflects that mission by transforming a former neighborhood commercial property into a two-unit residential rental while preserving the character and history of the existing structure.
