INVESTMENT GROUP DEVELOPMENT(IGD) is leading a transformational housing initiative in the Tindall Fields neighborhood of Macon, Georgia, designed to expand access to affordable, quality homeownership in a historically significant community. This effort is part of a broader partnership with the Macon-Bibb County Affordable Housing Fund and the Macon-Bibb County Land Bank Authority, leveraging public and private resources to revitalize underutilized parcels into desirable residential assets.
The Tindall Fields project is strategically positioned as a walkable, service-connected neighborhood with proximity to schools, transit, employment opportunities, and healthcare, enhancing both livability and long-term stability for residents. It represents a key component of Macon-Bibb’s housing goals to increase the supply of affordable single-family homes and create pathways to ownership for working families.
Construction in the first phase of the development has successfully delivered two attainable single-family homes, including one renovated historic property and one newly constructed residence — both now complete and actively offered for sale. These homes were crafted with affordability and quality in mind, incorporating energy-efficient standards and thoughtful design while honoring the historic character of the area.
